How It Works

Lock any of 1001 approved assets on its native chain. Earn $VCLM on Base. Your asset stays where it is. Your reward is earned through commitment.

Choose your asset and duration

Select from 1001 approved tokens across many blockchains. Choose how long you want to commit (minimum 7 days). All assets earn at the same rate — dollar for dollar, with no multipliers.

Lock on the native chain

Your asset is locked directly on its home chain by the protocol’s spoke vault contract. It never leaves that chain. A 5% protocol fee is taken at the moment of lock. The remaining 95% is returned to you when the lock matures.

Earn $VCLM on Base

Once the lock is recorded locally on the native chain, the vault sends a single cross-chain message to Base requesting the mint of your $VCLM. The $VCLM is minted instantly and sent to your wallet. Your reward is calculated on the full committed amount.

Important Details

Your asset stays on its native chain at all times — it is never bridged or moved.
$VCLM is minted on Base the moment your commitment is confirmed.
The 5% fee is taken from the committed asset, but your $VCLM reward is based on the full amount before the fee.
Axelar is used only to securely deliver the mint instruction to Base. It plays no role in locking or custody of your asset.
Every $VCLM that exists is earned through real commitment.
